Zbigniew Boniek - Ambassador of Expekt.com.
Zibi Boniek was named by Pelé as one of the 125 Greatest Living Footballers and FIFA include him in their 100 best players ever.
He won a bronze medal with Poland at soccer's World Cup 1982. While playing for Juventus he won a Cup Winners' Cup (1984), a European Super Cup (1984) and a European Cup (1985). He scored 24 goals in 80 matches for the Polish national team.
He will provide you with his thoughts as well as predictions ahead of every weekend during the 2009/2010 football season across Europe.
Atlético de Madrid - Liverpool (1)
Both teams have a huge potential and can beat any team in Europe - but none of them have shown that this season. Atlético are struggling in the middle of the table and Liverpool won’t qualify for next season's Champions League. But they have shown some great form in the Europa League this season, and this will be an entertaining encounter. Liverpool will be without Fernando Torres and I think that will make the difference in this game - Atlético will get a good result in the first leg.
Hamburger SV - Fulham (2)
Fulham won both at home and away against the German champions Wolfsburg. They've shown the rest of Europe that they are a good side, especially after beating Juventus. I think that they will cause yet another cup upset away to Hamburger SV on Thursday. Despite all the financial problems in England, I rate the Premier League as the best league in the world.
