They will have to do it without key players Josemi and Ruben Gonzalez (doubtfull). Their last home game resulted in a tight 1-0 win against Villareal with their winning goal coming late in the game from defender Nunes. Topscorer for Mallorca is Artiz Aduriz with 8 goals.

Sevilla:

Currently contending in 3 different title-races (Spanish League, Champions League and Copa Del Rey), Sevilla has their hands full. Coming off a home win against Osasuna last weekend, Sevilla enters this match on a high, with also having won the last 2 away games at Real Zaragoza and Valencia. Especially the win at Valencia witnesses of high quality. With attackers Kanoute and Luis Fabiano they have a deadly counter attacjk that could prove vital in this game as Mallorca will probably lead on ball-possesion. However Kanoute is doubtfull along side Squillace and Konko and with a long trip to Russia coming up this mid week for the Champions League game agains Moscow the question remains how Sevilla will prioritize this game.

Conclusion:

Neither team can afford to loose this game and with a difficult Champions League game coming up for Sevilla I reckon that they will be happy with not loosing track to Mallorca in the league. Mallorca's homefield advantage should be levelled out by Sevilla's strong counter attack capabilites and hence a draw seems the most likely outcome of the match
